The Creator Choir is composed of approximately 18 singers who enjoy leading the musical portion of our weekly worship. Four of our number are "scholarship singers" or students from Mississippi College, Hinds Community College, and Holmes Community College. The remaining majority of our choir come from varied backgrounds but have in common the desire to provide the best possible musical offering each week. That is really what we are about, using our voices and our musical talents to offer praise to God within the framework of our traditional liturgical service. Membership is open to singers with some music reading ability, a good musical ear, and large amounts of dedication and dependability. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for rehearsals and usually have a run-through on Sunday mornings before the 10:30 a.m. service. Potential members may contact Rolland Shaw at 601-925-5424.
