Catecheis of the Good Shepherd

Creator's children have the opportunity to experience the joy of a relationship with God through The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. Catechesis is a Montessori based program designed to enrich the religious formation of the child. Catechists’ believe that each child is capable of developing an individual relationship with God, and strive to provide the opportunity for children to grow, strengthen, and nurture that bond.

Child-sized materials fill our Atria, or classrooms, and allow children to learn about liturgy and scripture in ways they are able to comprehend. The materials, known as works, allow for the youngest members of the church to be presented with the most important realities of Christian beliefs.

Creator currently offers two Atria: Level I for the 3-6 year old child, and Level II for children 6-12 years of age. We have seven trained Level I Catechist, four of whom are currently furthering their training in a Level II formation class.
