Connections began in 1996, one of two groups established by the rector for spiritual development. This group has lasted as an organization primarily for women and now has about twenty members. Meetings are from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the second and fourth Thursday of each month and are in the homes of the members. The Connections Group is a service ministry, and the group focuses on raising money for the church and for the battered women and children ministry as well. During the year there are book studies and this season the book study is Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, by Joanna Weaver.
