The Parish Lunch Teams

Food - this is what binds us together! We like to eat, but we have to be inventive to plan ways to feed everyone without spending too much time, money or energy doing it.

We came up with the idea of lunch teams. This consists of 4 teams with about 12 to 14 people on each team. Since we have Church functions that include food about 8 times a year, this means each team is responsible for the meal or event about twice a year.

We've had a variety of meals, from fish fries to prime rib – and they’ve all been good! Some have been great! But the most important part is sharing and being together as a group of people who have one thing in common – our love for God and family.

If you feel that you would like to be a part of the lunch teams (you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to – there are plenty of other jobs to do!), talk to Emily, Luther, or anyone on a lunch team – they’ll hook you up with a team!
